Fanatical birdwatchers descend upon an Arkansas bayou in hopes of finding the celebrated Ivory Billed Woodpecker which has supposedly been extinct since the 1940’s. The small town is thrown into chaos. The citizens become divided by believers and nonbelievers, rabid environmentalists, and opportunistic entrepreneurs.
